You might have heard, or you might be wondering what I’m even talking about. Either way, this buzzword has been picking up traction;
CBD stands for Cannabidiol. It’s essentially like an extract you would find at the store like vanilla or almond.
According to Medical News Today, “CBD is one of many compounds, known as cannabinoids, that are found in the cannabis plant…Marijuana contains both THC and CBD, but the compounds have different effects. Unlike THC, CBD is not psychoactive. This means that it does not change the state of mind of the person who uses it. However, it does appear to produce significant changes in the body and has been found to have medical benefits.”
That’s right. MEDICAL BENEFITS. We aren’t talking getting stoned in your parents basement or whatever cannabis memories or assumptions swimming around in your head right now. We are talking physically helpful fatty acids, proteins, vitamins and minerals all blended together NATURALLY.
